 DSQUARED2
DSQUARED2, designed by identical twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, create some of the best high-end clothes I have seen. Their aesthetic runs towards something that reminds me of grafitti-soaked, old-school hip-hop influenced style. I have been a fan of them for a while and below are some of my favourite pieces from their F/W11 and S/S12 collections.

In order of price, descending:

                                Red                                        Beige                                Military Green
---These three "L/S tailored shirts" are all priced at $450. They are tailored very well and work nicely under a blazer or suit for interesting effect. Last summer's camoflauge trend is re-imagined here quite creatively. The camoflauge is subtle and markedly stylized. The colours that the shirts are named after is whichever colour is most prominent in the camoflauge accent on the shirt (ie. Red on the cuffs of the Red shirt).

---Continuing the trend with the shirts, we have this more laid-back 'flannel L/S shirt' on sale for $375. I am a big fan of flannel and would definitely wear this quite a bit. It could go with either sneakers and jeans or Clarks and khakis. Flannel is versatile and almost always looks good.

---Having a nice pair of jeans can be the difference in making an impression or having your outfit look lame. I own a pair of DSQUARED2 denim and I find them to be the best pair of jeans I own. The fit is impeccable (they are tailored in Italy) and they look great with nearly any shirt I choose to wear it for. These 'denim cotton jeans' are on sale for $270 and are guaranteed to make you look fresh.

---Many people detest the graphic tee. I, however, find it to be an essential staple of my wardrobe. I have filled up my dresser with graphic tees I have attained around the world and find them to be great conversation-starters. This graphic tee, at $180, is a nice picture of a 'Coast Postcard' with logo detailing. At a price like that you are guaranteed that the shirt will fit well and look nice on. If you don't wish to spend the much I highly suggest checking out Urban Outfitters for graphic t-shirts. They are much more reasonably-priced and I own quite a few from them that people seem to often comment on.

Orlebar Brown Swimwear
I came across this brand of swim trunks designed my Orlebar Brown earlier this summer. He is a French designer who notice the lack of variety and quality in Men's swimwear. To solve this problem he created a high end brand of swimwear that utilized cool basic colors, simplified design, and well tailored fit. All of this comes at a price though--these suits run around $240 on up. Check out the designs below though. All styles can be bought at www.mrporter.com
